LAU Day at the Lake – Northern Utah

If you are joining us at Willard Bay please bring water bottles! We will provide water to refill them. If you have a large insulated water cooler we could use to put ice water in, please bring it!

 

Willard Bay North Marina Registration details.

Day at the Lake Friday August 23 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

This event requires pre-registration by August 15 and the signing of a waver. 

Please read this first then register below.

Who: All LAU students and their immediate family members.

 

Where: Willard Bay North Marina in the Eagle day use area. Take exit 357 from I-15. Please consult Google for more specific directions. We have North Pelican Beach group site, South Pelican Beach group site, and Eagle 1 Pavilion reserved. You may park at any of these sites and claim a picnic table or set up an easy-up.

 

When: August 23rd from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Dinner will be provided by LAU at the Eagle 1 Pavilion from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The dinner menu is: fried chicken, various salads, watermelon, rolls, and cookie bars. Please make your own arrangements if there are food allergies. Popsicle’s and cold water will be provided throughout the day. Bring your own lunch and snacks if needed! The Park opens at 8:00 a.m. Come as early as you want,  LAU will be there at 1:00 p.m.

 

What you need to bring: LAU will provide some kayaks, canoes, paddle boards and life jackets to share. LAU has also reserved the Floating Playground for families to enjoy – life jacket required! Bring swim gear, water toys and towels, sunscreen and mosquito repellent, easy-ups,  lawn chairs, and a spirit of fun and adventure. You may also bring water crafts, canoes, kayaks, paddle boards, jet skis, life jackets etc. if you have them. The boat launch is nearby. 

If you are bringing any of the above equipment, we ask that you use it only with your own family unless you are willing to take on the liability of others using it. LAU cannot be responsible for any accidents or damages that may occur on personal equipment.

 

 

Cost: $20 per car for park entrance fee (up to 8 people per car.) 

 

Families MUST register for this activity by August 15.
