Mental Health Resources: Are you or your student struggling with mental health? Here are some free resources that may help get you back on track:

  • SafeUT is a resource for all Utah students, parents/guardians, and educators. You can call or chat through the app about any concerns you may have for your student. SafeUT also has a helpful database of other resources that can be filtered by issue, area, and even insurance coverage. A therapist from SafeUT can help you talk through concerns and connect you with the right resources and referrals. You or your child do not need to be in crisis in order to call! If you have any concerns at all, please contact them.
  • The Utah Strong Recovery Project offers support for stress resulting from COVID-19 or the Magna Earthquake. Their helpline operates daily from 7:00 AM-7:00 PM. For help, call or text (385) 386-2289 or email utahstrong@utah.gov.
  • The Stabilization and Mobile Response Team is a state-wide program that responds to your residence to ease immediate challenges and provide support. They will work with you and your family to create a plan that works for everyone. Short-term services are available if needed or they will refer you to the right places for support. More information can be found here or by calling 1-833-SAFE-FAM (1-833-723-3326).

Changes to the LAU office schedule: Starting in January 2021, the LAU Office in Clearfield will be open Monday-Thursday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Fridays will be by appointment only. If you are visiting the office for a computer-related need, please contact computers@latah.org. For any other office needs, please contact Suzanne Jensen. On days with severe weather, please call us at 800-200-6869 before coming to the office to make sure someone will be there.
