Weekly Parent Email – February 11, 2022
I recently received this testimonial from LAU Board Secretary Amy George that I wanted to share:
“My name is Amy George. I have been an LAU and Williamsburg parent for nearly six years, with a senior graduating this May! One thing that has always impressed me about this school is its desire to do all it can to meet the needs of its students. Several times throughout the years, I have taken their surveys and seen them utilize some of my suggestions in the changes they have made for the benefit of the school. What a rare quality: listening to feedback, creating a solution, and then executing it with enthusiasm and a dedication to providing the best possible educational experience. Change can be difficult, but it can also open the door to new opportunities that would not have been available otherwise. My love for this school’s online education and their willingness to do whatever within their power to improve their student’s experience inspired me to volunteer for the LAU Board of Directors as their secretary and to become the Director of Education Empowerment Hub’s new Elevation Youth Summit coming this May 2022 to Layton, Utah. I want to be part of the change. I want to ensure the future of LAU so my children and others could continue to attend this school in the years to come.”
We are honored to serve you and are grateful to be a part of your educational journey!
Sincerely,
Pete Jensen
Executive Director, LAU
