Weekly Parent Email – May 13, 2022
The end of the school year is right around the corner, and I want to congratulate our LAU students for their incredible success. Robert Collier once shared a thought that relates well to continuing education: “Success is the sum of small efforts repeated day in and day out.” It’s easy to see the accumulation of all those small efforts and what they have grown into as we reach the end of the school year. I encourage you to take a moment with your student and acknowledge the continuous effort they’ve given that has led them to where they are now. I hope your student feels honored by their actions toward their success.
I also want to thank Pete Jensen for his leadership these past five years and acknowledge his success in starting and growing Leadership Academy of Utah. The Board of Directors felt the heavy responsibility of hiring a new Executive Director that could fill his shoes. That weight was lifted when we unanimously voted to offer John Tripp the position, and we were delighted when he accepted. We are looking forward to working with him and seeing his vision for LAU come to life.
Sincerely,
Jana Stout
Board Chair, LAU
