Weekly Parent Email – May 6, 2022

May 6, 2022

It is a sincere honor and privilege to be selected as the next Executive Director of LAU. I’m humbled and privileged to work in this dynamic organization. As I’ve learned more about this unique educational opportunity, I’ve become even more excited to meet each of you. Our students and families form the core foundation of our success. I’m grateful for your trust as we work together to provide high-quality, transformative learning experiences for your student.

I’d like to give a special thank you to Pete Jensen and the LAU team. Their expertise is genuinely valued and appreciated. Pete’s legacy will continue to grow under my leadership, and he will continue to share his wisdom during this transition through frequent mentoring sessions. I’m also motivated and committed to our partnership with Williamsburg Learning. Too often, schools teach students what to think and not how to think. I believe Williamsburg is a leader in educational excellence that truly makes a difference in students’ lives.

The culture and vision of LAU are among the very finest. I’m eager to listen, learn, and connect with you in the near future.

Warmest Regards,

John Tripp

Executive Director, LAU
