Weekly Parent Email – October 2, 2020
Happy Fall! Just like the trees change color this time of year, our students are transforming before our eyes. We have many students this year who are experiencing online learning for the first time and thriving despite the challenges we’ve all faced recently. We are so grateful to get to share our inspiring curriculum and dedicated mentors with your family. It’s our pleasure to give you the flexible and challenging education options you want for your children.
Our mentors have thoroughly enjoyed meeting with many of you this week through Parent-Mentor Updates (PMUs) and Parent-Mentor Conferences (PMCs). If you haven’t already signed up, spots are still available through October 7! Sign-up options and directions are below (under Upcoming Events).
Warmly,
Pete Jensen
Executive Director, LAU

Has your student had a Transformational Learning Experience? A Transformational Learning Experience, or TLE, helps students change the way they view themselves or the world in a profound way. If you or your student has had a TLE, please share it here! We love hearing about the great experiences our students have in the classroom or on adventures with their classmates.
Did your student miss Inspiration Hour last week? Head over to Homeroom to watch last week’s discussion on “The Scenario Matrix” with Liliana Owen.
