Weekly Parent Email – September 9, 2022
Over the last few weeks, I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to visit with many of our families. I’m impressed and grateful to each and every one of you. Your support of LAU and your students is clearly evident. Our families value education and are highly committed to ensuring each student has the best possible opportunity.
The LAU and Williamsburg team supports your family in this journey! We love working with your students and value each of their unique talents and capabilities. We value the whole student and not simply test scores, and we believe a focus on leadership and academics sets our students apart as future leaders. I am honored to partner with you in developing citizens who will be ready to lead our communities and solve our future challenges.
Next week are our Parent-Mentor Conferences. This opportunity allows you to visit with a mentor and ask questions about your student’s progress in their course. As LAU’s executive director, I also look forward to visiting with our families about student celebrations, challenges, or concerns.
We remain committed to our students and invite our families to partner with us as we work to elevate education. I am always eager to learn as much as I can to enhance our student’s educational experience!
Warmest regards,
John Tripp
Executive Director, LAU
