Weekly Parent Update – March 3, 2023
Thank you for choosing Leadership Academy of Utah. We value your commitment to our school and love watching your students grow and develop into tomorrow’s leaders. LAU has uniquely designed the following opportunities to connect, transform, and engage your student.
Transformational learning is at the core of what we do. These life-changing experiences redefine how students see themselves and increase their leadership ability. LAU, in partnership with Williamsburg Learning, fosters opportunities and relationships where true transformation happens. I cannot think of a better school that offers so much to help our children.
Here are just a few transformational opportunities offered by LAU:
Summit Leadership Adventure: Last week, we announced this four-night outdoor summer leadership experience designed to increase student capacity and character through adventure and outdoor activities (LAU preferential registration closes on March 20).
Adventure Fridays: Learning to be a leader through social and active adventures helps students connect with their peers and gain exposure to various opportunities.
Regional Family LAU Activities: Students and families have opportunities to connect in regional venues across Utah. Star gazing, elk watching, water adventure parks, adventure and fun parks, football games, and Hale Centre Theatre performances are a few of the fun and engaging experiences that have been or will be provided for our students and families this school year.
Because we are an online school, we can engage students differently. We can focus on meaningful, transformational, and fun in-person opportunities that empower students to build relationships and leadership abilities. We encourage parents and students to engage in these unique activities.
Warm Regards,
John Tripp
Executive Director, Leadership Academy of Utah
