Elective & Second Language Program Overview

Our Approach

With the Williamsburg Curriculum, our students take several leadership courses to graduate. This leaves room for only three elective credits. Also, many students choose to take two credits of second language to increase their chances of getting into competitive college programs. This leaves room for only one additional elective. Therefore, we offer few electives.

Only 1.0 elective credit is required to graduate. Thus, we also allow students to use “excess” credits from other programs to fulfill the elective credit. For instance, only 3.0 Science credits are needed to graduate. If a student had 4.0 credits in Science, she could use that extra science credit to fill the elective credit requirement.
