Who We Are: Our governing team is comprised of a small group of dedicated, forward-thinking individuals who govern Leadership Academy of Utah on behalf of the taxpayers of our state.

Who We Seek: Good board members do not need to have expertise relevant to HR, IT, Finance or any other management area. You only need to have a passion and interest in alternative education and governance excellence. You would make a great governing board member if you are:

• Devoted to creating and improving a quality charter school
• Enjoy dealing with values, vision, and the long-term
• Communicative, reliable, and willing to commit a small amount of personal time to attend board meetings and occasional other meetings
• Willing to share power in group process and delegate decision-making to staff
