Second Language courses have been designed for students in grades 9 – 12, and are offered for high school credit through our high school program. To read more about the Second Language courses and how they work, go here. These are high school level courses that require students to be able to work autonomously and consistently on their own. Keep in mind that intermediate students may take longer than the estimated weekly, one-hour time commitment for homework.
Students in grades 6 – 8 may enroll in these courses, but not all 6 – 8th-grade students have the discipline needed for a self-paced course or are ready for the additional workload a second language course requires.
If you feel your student can successfully complete a self-paced, high-school level language course, you can enroll them by selecting the “High School” class option during the registration process.
