We Use Remind Messaging to Communicate with Families

With Leadership Academy of Utah (LAU) families spread throughout the state, we use Remind messaging (texting) to ensure all families receive important, sometimes urgent, information. Remind is a communication platform, designed to support learning. If you don't have the app, we encourage you to download it! 

Will I Get Bombarded?

You might be wondering if signing up for Remind means you'll be bombarded by messages from us. Rest assured, that will not be the case! We'll only message you when it's important for us to do so. Here are some examples of the types of messaging you might receive:

  • Class updates
  • Weekly Parent Update (with Announcements, Action Items, and Upcoming Events)
  • Urgent announcements
  • Other important communications

If you are not currently receiving messages through Remind, we invite you to join us and stay up-to-date on what is happening! 

 

Three Ways to Sign Up

Mobile App: Download the mobile app for iOS and Android devices. Create a new account or log in if you already have one. To join a class, tap the + by Classes Joined and either join with your class code or search for your class. You’ll automatically get app notifications.

Desktop: Visit remind.com/join and enter the class or school code and your email address.

From Your Inbox: Send a blank email to code@mail.remind.com. You’ll get a response with more instructions.
