Activity Details
LAU/WL students, friends, and family are invited to join us as we give back to the community and beautify our earth. We are partnering with Tree Utah to clean around the Jordan River. Guests will help remove Tamarisk plants and plant Willow and other native shrubs to beautify the area.
When you arrive, please park in the free parking lot just to the west of the pickleball courts. Look for the green Tree Utah tent to check in. We will be outside for the duration of the project, and we will have our activity rain or shine. Please dress accordingly. Work gloves and closed-toe shoes are recommended. Be prepared to work in uneven terrain near the Jordan River. TreeUtah will provide gloves, water, and snacks during the project.
Following the service project, we will walk .25 miles for a cozy lunch at Zupas Cafe!

All participants must complete a registration form to be added to the guest list prior to the event.
We will be working along the Jordan River. Any siblings or friends age 12 and under entering the park must be accompanied by an adult. LAU will not be liable or responsible for any guests participating. Parents/Guardians are responsible for the safety of their guests.
We will have gluten free options available.
